A Cappella/Jazz Chair

Madelyn is the vocal director at Steinert High School in Hamilton, NJ. She directs 3 curricular choirs as well as the competitive a cappella group, The Spartones, which she founded in her first year. They now compete annually and host their own A Cappella Showcase, featuring other local a cappella groups. She is also the music director of the spring musical each year. Outside of school, Madelyn is the vocal director for the Tomato Patch Workshop for the Arts at Mercer County Community College every summer and often music directs community theater shows. She is also the co-founder of the community theater group Off-Centre Stages and a proud singer of the Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers. Madelyn is a proud graduate of TCNJ, where she participated in the Lyric Theatre program and directed the Trentones for 3 years. In her time as music director, the Trentones competed in the International Championship for Collegiate A Cappella, where she helped the group move onto the Semifinals and also won Outstanding Arrangement.
